Something To Think About...
Ok. Let's talk about the MLB League Championship Series and the fact that the Yankees didn't even come close to being a part of it. Who did though? The LA Dodgers. It's funny that Torre was no longer welcome in the Bronx because we weren't winning. We still aren't winning. But Torre's new team is. I'm thinking maybe he inherited a good team when he made the move to LA. Maybe he got out there and actually had something to work with (something he didn't have a whole lot of with the Yankees). Maybe he made some good trading decisions. I don't know. Honestly I didn't pay that much attention to the Dodgers, but something out there is going right. I mean, yes, the Yankees have some of the best players in the MLB on their team, but a few players can't carry an entire ball club. So here's my question: Was Joe Torre really the main problem in New York after all?
