It's The Little Things...
A few things I am loving right now:
The Tar Heels being ranked for the frst time since 2001, my roommates, dinner parties, autumn, 3 pumpkin parties in the next 2 weeks, the amazing group of freshmen in Quest this year, the fact that I will be at Windy Gap in exactly 4 weeks, college football, the fresh market, the teachers on my hall who take such good care of me, the discovery that I can buy Scott's BBQ Sauce outside of Goldsboro, reusable grocery bags
A few things I do NOT love right now:
Driving a SUV / gas prices, still feeling like I don't know what I am doing at school, the tearing down of yankee stadium, Marcus Ginyard having foot surgery and being out for 8 weeks, division, my lack of a green thumb, my janky cell phone
When fall comes, kicking summer out... it stays awhile like an old friend that you have missed. It settles in the way an old friend will settle into your favorite chair and take out his pipe and light it and then fill the afternoon with stories of places he has been and things he has done since last he saw you.
